I finally did it - I created a blog! I've been thinking about doing this since JT and I found out we were expecting a baby, but I just haven't had the time to do so. Considering I'm iced in today, what better time then the present?!
I'm not an amazing writer and my punctuation isn't great, but this isn't a blog to showcase my writing and journalism skills. My hope is family and friends will use this site to keep up with our day to day activities - especially after April 23, 2009 (my due date)!
Also, as a side note, if you're wondering why I titled the site "Dogwood Bluff", it's for a few reasons: 1) "The Griffin Family" was already taken (someone is obviously just as original as me :), 2) I couldn't think of anything very creative, and 3) the hill we live on is evidently known as "Dogwood Bluff" by our neighbors. In the Spring, the hillside is beautiful; covered with dogwoods, green grass, and all sorts of animals! It should be a great place to raise a rambunctious, little boy! I can only imagine what sorts of bugs/varmints he'll be toddling home with in the future!
