I was totally opposed to the idea of maternity pictures. Granted, I'm completely amazed by the fact that my body is able to grow a little person, but you don't exactly feel attractive during the 40 weeks you act as your child's incubator! However, every mother I spoke with told me I'd really regret not documenting my round belly. So, after a lot of thought, I decided I'd call my friend Erin (erinconrad.com) to see if she'd be willing to shoot a few photos of JT and I and the little guy growing inside of me. If I was going to let anyone see my big, 'ol belly I certainly wanted it to be a photographer I felt comfortable around.
Erin came out to our house about 2 weeks ago, which put me at 34 weeks pregnant, and took the shots. She did a great job and we had a lot of fun. Here are a few more of our favorites...I'll spare all of you and not post the "real" belly pics!
What wonderful pics of our three favorite kids. The before shots are great but very anxious to see Baby G in his mom and dad's arms. Time is getting close. Soon Dogwood Bluff will have a new resident. Can't wait to see his little face posted on this blog.
